Billye began her career in edtech more than 20 years ago when she joined Blackboard in its first years as a start-up. Since then, she has worked in education and technology fields in the Middle East, Africa and the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to joining Class, she delivered online training and coaching programmes to international corporate organisations, and has first-hand understanding of the challenges and opportunities with online and hybrid learning.

Jaslyn Hughes, Global Manager, Customer Value Design at Open LMS

Jaslyn has worked in the educational technology industry for over fifteen years, starting in technical roles. As an online learning addict, Jaslyn is well-versed in the challenges with making online learning engaging for users and easy to manage for teachers. With a certification in training and assessment and a degree in business management, combined with years of experience,  Jaslyn has a wealth of knowledge to share.

James Smith, Senior Solutions Architect at Open LMS

James has years of L&D consulting experience with a variety of education and corporate clients including Telstra, Australian Department of Defence, Victorian EPA, KPMG, RMIT, Bendigo Bank and IBSA.  Starting out in L&D in the early 2000s as a facilitator who had to write his own training material, through to becoming an eLearning developer, and now at his sweet spot as a “consultant” with a focus on learning strategies, content and platforms.
